Mary & Marjory

What a lovely surprise to meet Mary and Marjory at The Monet exhibition yesterday. We started chatting about the paintings and I thought they were so lovely and cute I asked them if I could take their photo. Mary used to be a school teacher and Marjory taught at kinder. They are really great friends and took the train together from Geelong. Marjory told me she loves looking after animals and how she took care of homeless birds after the big bush fires. They were both so funny and liked making jokes.

CAROL & DAVID

 

I met Carol and David yesterday. They are from the USA and have very nice accents. They told me that they love dancing and showed me some of their favourite steps. Most of all they enjoy traveling, going to restaurants and seeing plays and the ballet together.

Sorry, I've been busy...

I am sorry it has been a long time since I updated this blog. I am now in grade 3 and I get homework and have to practice guitar. I'm not used to being so busy.I really missed my blog so I decided to show you some new photos. Thanks, Nancy

VINCE

This is Vince. He is our friend's neighbour who has a cool red coffee machine. He made me and my sisters baby cinos and a coffee for my mum. He likes to make coffees a lot.

IRIS APFEL

I first saw Iris on the Advanced Style blog and then she was in the newspaper. She has really cute glasses and she wears beautiful clothes. I love her smile. She looks really magical.

JOY

Joy is the mum of my sister Ponie's piano teacher. We visit her every Friday and she loves to knit. Sometimes she forgets that I am a girl. She knits jumpers for the children of poor families and I think that is very kind.

DAME EDNA

I have never met Dame Edna. When I saw her on TV I thought she was a cute grandma, but there was something different about her. I figured out that she was a he. I think Barry Humphries is a really good actor.

MARDI & JUDY

I met Mardi and Judy at an opp shop in Ararat. They are sisters and Mardi told me how she loves to visit Melbourne to see the shows. She used to be a dancer and wore beautiful costumes. They have have beautiful smiles and Judy giggled a lot.

EILEEN

I met Eileen at the supermarket while my little sister was having a tantrum. She was very kind and tried to cheer her up. We then saw her again outside in the street and she told me I was a great helper carrying the shopping bags. I quickly took her photo because she was running late for her train. We hoped she didn't miss the train. She told me to always look after myself and be kind to others.

MOTTI

Motti's job is to drive people around. Sometimes he does this for my grandpa. I liked how he dressed and his watch is cool. He laughed alot and was really cute.

JONATHON

I met Jonathon when I visited my grandpa in Israel. I thought he looked cute because he had blue circle glasses and a nice smile. He told me he loves red wine, the opera and pretty ladies. I liked talking to him.

PEARLY

 

This is my grandma Pearly. We are teaching her how to ride a bike. She is going well so far but needs to practice a little bit more. I think she is really cute.

JACK

I met Jack when I visited my friend Genevieve in Kyneton. She said he was a really cute grandpa and she was right. Jack told me that he loved playing golf and he was a soldier in the war in New Guinea. He had a butcher shop for 50 years and he loved his customers. But one lady was a big chatterbox and only bought a little bit of meat. His favourite meat is rump steak. His birthday is 1st of June and he was born in 1920. I think he looks much younger than that!

ALISON

This is my friend Alison from the market. She makes yummy bread and croissants. Sometimes she gives me croissants. They are my favourite! She is really nice. Her glasses are cute.

DOROTHY AND IAN

This is my little friend Poppy's grandma called Dorothy (but we call her Do-do) and her special friend Ian. I took this photo at Poppy's Meg and Mog birthday party and I think their outfits are great.  They told me they love to laugh and giggle.

KUMAR FROM MASTERCHEF

I think Kumar from Masterchef looks like a very cute grandpa and a very smart cooker. I didn't take this photo, it is from the Masterchef website. I like that he has a big smile and he is happy and he is kind.

IVY AND MAY

I met Ivy and May at the Chemist shop. They love drinking coffee and dancing and all girlie things. They are sisters and love each other.

ROGER

We met Roger at the supermarket. He is very cute and friendly and has an accent.

ALEXIS ON THE TRAIN

I met Alexis on the train. She was smiling at me. She told me that she had been to the market to buy food to make lunch for her brother. He was visiting from Brisbane.
